Round stingray (Urobatis halleri) on the beach at Estero El Soldado east of San Carlos, Sonora. The boy is about ten inches in diameter. It was gently urged back into the water. These stingrays have a powerful stinger. They injure many swimmers every year. Jan. 17, 2017.
