Lesser Canada Goose (B. c. parvipes). Medium-sized (about 2/3 the size of moffitti). Some variation in breast color, though usually fairly pale. Very similar to Taverner's Cackling Goose, though bill is larger and forehead is not as steep. West Yakima, WA. December 4, 2004.
