| Osprey sitting on eggs in its nest along Highway 12 about three miles southeast of Naches, WA. Pacific Power and Light discouraged this pair of Ospreys from building their nest atop a power pole next to the highway. One of their crews then erected a pole with a nest platform for this pair of Ospreys next to the first pole they chose. Ospreys are nesting in the Yakima Valley on at least ten poles that PP & L has erected for them.
