This photo of the sun shows the large sunspot (at the top of the sun) that caused the magnificent aurora borealis. To take this photo, I aimed my spotting scope at the sun, projected the image onto a piece of paper and took the photo with my iPhone. A very low-tech way to photograph the sun. Viewed: 382 times.
