Barnacle Goose in a flock of Canada Geese at the Yakima Area Arboretum. First seen on about Nov. 15 by John Hebert and Richard Repp on Buchanan Lake. It, unfortunately, is an escaped bird. I have talked to the owner, who said he had one fly away from his pond in September. It amazingly returned to his place two weeks after it left and he was able to catch it.
